Nothing Day is a real, quirky non-holiday which falls on January 16th. It was proposed in 1972 by columnist Harold Pullman Coffin, and it has been observed annually on January 16th since 1973, when it was added to Chase's Calendar of Events. Now, mind you, it's not an official holiday, because making it so would require an act of Congress, but it is on the calendar, and that's that, so deal with it.
