Cowboys, Poets, Musicians... And Red Steagall

It's that time of the year again, cowboys and cowgirls! In less than two weeks, Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering, the second oldest event of this kind in the country, will take place again in Lewistown, Montana. With the weird year we all had last year, the 35th annual Gathering had to be cancelled, and I missed it sorely, so I'm hoping the 36th Gathering will more than make up for it. Actually, I'm pretty sure it will. Want to know why? Read on.
I won't even dwell on the fact that Buckaroo Bling will be at the Gathering again this year. I'll just mention that our (very) limited collection of turquoise and carnelian rings will be introduced at the event in addition to our regular offerings. The reason why I'm sure this year's Gathering will be extra special is because the Saturday concert headliner is none other than Red Steagall.
Yes, THAT Red Steagall... The famed songwriter, poet, recording artist, and TV and movie personality. Of all the places Red could be (and he has traveled and performed all over the world), he chose Lewistown, Montana for August 14 this year. I can't wait to see him in-person! And, as you may surmise, all the tickets for the concert are sold out. Thank goodness, we got ours way back in February!

If you're anywhere near Lewistown, Montana on August 13 and 14, stop by Fergus High School and say "howdy" to Buckaroo Bling. It wouldn't hurt either if you shopped with us a bit. Can't make it this year? Check out our online shop and our best sellers below. ⬇️
